The food is always 10/10, but what really stands out to me is the amazing service and how thoughtful and empathetic the staff are. I’ve been bringing my mom here after her medical appointments from Tulare, and since she uses a walker, they always think ahead and seat us somewhere that doesn’t require her to walk very far. It’s such a small gesture, but it means so much to us. I also recently witnessed them show that same kindness to another customer who was there with her daughter in a wheelchair. The staff immediately made sure they had an accessible and comfortable seating arrangement. It really showed me that this level of care is simply who they are. Everyone is always so sweet, welcoming, and accommodating. Amazing food and even better people. Definitely a place worth supporting! ❤️🍣

We stopped here on our way through and we absolutely loved how fresh everything tasted! I love the Shrimp Shumai!! My Shrimp Tempura roll was awesome and packed with crab meat. The Philly Roll and Rainbow Roll were just as fresh and delicious. 10/10 would absolutely 100% come back again if coming back through Bakersfield! <3

After reading some of the reviews, I needed to try this place out. Dang did they deliver! Started off with their Spicy Garlic Edamame. It’s worth stopping here just for this. Ask for extra napkins because you’ll be licking your fingers to enjoy the large pieces of garlic. I then chose two rolls. The first being Spicy Yellowtail Jalapeño and the second was the Salmon Lovers roll. Freshly prepared ginger and wasabi to bring out the flavors. Both rolls were full of flavors with just enough spice. The wasabi took care of the rest. Service was top notch, wait….actually better than that. Pricing was fair for the experience and there seems to be plenty of parking.

I'm almost 70 and have been eating traditional sushi with my Japanese and Korean customers for 47 years, I'm new to eating sushi in Bakersfield and have say that from the welcome to food server (Lucy) and the food - Miso (Excellent 👌🏼) Hamachi 👍🏼, Tobico👍🏼, Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna, Unagi, Giant Scallops... Everything was wonderful. Thx June & Lucy

Trust me, we have repeated our visit to this restaurant (sometimes just we 2 and other times with a large group of friends) many times people and the staff have always been friendly. We’ve never had one bad experience and will continue to be loyal patrons. They are always quick behind the sushi bar (hats off to the sushi chefs) and our food comes out fast so that’s a plus. Today the fish was fresh and served up with a nice garnish of a beautiful orchid and the fish is very fresh we were very pleased with all of it. We went during happy hour where specific rolls are half off! Take my word for it on this: Order yourself the spicy garlic edamame as a starter! You won’t be disappointed in fact it’s fantastic. When our sushi came we were offered ginger and authentic wasabi too. Wow what a nice surprise. I honestly have never had authentic wasabi to know what I was missing. Treat yourself as soon as you can. I’ll upload my impressions that I captured. We revisited this sushi house and were happy to enjoy fresh sushi. Steve had the spicy pork bento.
